The cinematic world of JULES is expanding into a feature film. As independent creators, we are bringing our audience along from development through release as we build this film together.
JULES is a sports action drama set in the competitive world of professional motocross. It explores themes of autonomy, control, ambition and a woman’s fight for agency in a space that was never created for her to thrive.
The approach was to explore how physicality can carry emotional truth. Each motocross race was treated as an extension of the character it centers. Shaping movement, pacing and coverage to reflect each characters emotional state by using practical stunts and real environments. Music was equally intentional. Each song was carefully selected to reflect tone, rhythm and emotional point of view. Functioning as the emotional punctuation.
Tiffany Abney
Tiffany Abney is an acclaimed stunt performer with over 15 years of experience in the industry. She has brought action to life by doubling powerhouse actresses such as Angela Bassett, Teyana Taylor, Gabrielle Union, Kelly Rowland, KeKe Palmer, Andra Day and the list goes on. A trailblazer both on and off set, Tiffany is now using her expertise to open doors for more women in the action genre.
